Questions, Answered.
Fit matters more than almost anything else in therapy. Read through our therapist profiles and notice who you feel drawn to, or tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll suggest someone. If it isn’t the right match after your first session, we’ll help you find a better one.
Yes. Online sessions are available to clients located in British Columbia and work well for most of the concerns we support. All you need is a private space and a stable connection.
Yes. In-person appointments are available at our Vancouver practice at 8765 Cambie Street, Vancouver, BC V6P 3J9. You can reach us at 604 787 2444. Transit, parking and accessibility details TBD.
Fee schedule TBD. Add your session length, standard rate per therapist, and any sliding-scale or reduced-fee options here. Publish exact figures only once they are confirmed.
Billing policy TBD. State which insurers you can bill directly, which require you to submit a receipt, and note that coverage depends on the client’s plan and their therapist’s designation. Do not list an insurer until direct billing with them is set up.
Mostly it’s a conversation. Your therapist will ask what brought you in, what you’d like to be different, and a little about your history — at whatever pace feels manageable. You don’t need to prepare anything or have it neatly explained.
Many people start weekly or every other week and move to a lighter cadence as things settle. Confirm your practice’s typical scheduling approach here. There is no fixed number of sessions — it’s reviewed with you as you go.
What you share in session is kept private, and your records are handled under BC privacy legislation. There are a small number of legal and ethical limits to confidentiality — your therapist will go through these with you at the start. Exact wording to be reviewed against your college’s standards before publishing.
You Don’t Have to Have
Everything Figured Out.
Starting therapy can simply begin with a conversation.
